A record number of Banbury paddlers took part in the Frank Luzmore Memorial Race this month – the first significant race of the year. The 13 mile race with 3 portages was a good test of the winter training, and saw Arthur win the U18 boys race with Spencer from Devizes, and Esme took 2nd place in U16 girls with Flossie from Wiltshire Youth.
